About this Project
The Finch Light Rail Transit (LRT) project is an 11-kilometre rail connection between Yonge Street and Humber College in Toronto. In 2021 our firm was hired by Colas Rail Canada complete an as-built survey for part of the railway.
For this project we used the Amberg rail trolley and precise total station technology to deliver rail geometry reports for rail tamping and rail adjustments. This technique allowed us to efficiently deliver precise, high quality, reliable data at a lower cost.

Rouse Surveyors have completed a Surveyor’s Real Property Report, topographic survey, 3-D laser scans and reference plans for this project.
