Pioneer Village Station

  • Date: 2013 – 2018
  • Client: Walsh Construction Company Canada
  • Project Type: Construction Services

About this Project

The Pioneer Village Station was just one part of the extensive Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension (TYSSE) project. Our firm was contracted by Walsh Construction Company Canada, the company selected to build this new subway station on behalf of Toronto Transit Commission (TTC).

Between 2013 and 2018 Rouse Surveyors performed construction layout services. Our work began with as-built formwork for concrete pours at track level, continued with grid line stakeout, calculation and layout of elliptical columns at concourse level, layout of underground utilities, and completed with stakeout of tree locations for final landscaping work.
