About this Project
This former Toronto Parking Authority “Green P” parking lot is the subject of a pilot project to test the feasibility of developing on top of an existing subway structure.
In 2013 Rouse Surveyors was originally retained by CreateTO, acting on behalf of the City of Toronto, to prepare legal and topographic surveys. This request included a subway structure location survey and reference plans. Reference plans were required to describe the fee simple ownership and easements for the transfer of the lands to the International Estonian Centre.
Rouse Surveyors was later retained by Harbridge and Cross Ltd. to survey newly constructed elements like foundation walls for comparison with engineer designs for QA/QC purposes, and to perform weekly pile monitoring for the excavation throughout construction.
