  • Client: Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) and Maystar General Contractors Inc.
  • Project Type: 3-D laser scans, Legal Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Construction Surveys

About this Project

As part of the “Easier Access” project, TTC is currently installing new elevators to improve accessibility.

In 2016 Rouse Surveyors was hired by TTC to conduct a boundary survey, topographic survey and control survey at grade level and throughout the interior of College Park in preparation for this project. In 2020 Rouse Surveyors was then hired by Maystar General Contractors Inc. to perform an updated pre-construction topographic survey, legal survey and construction survey for the existing structure and caissons, at the exterior excavated side, to help establish alignment for the new elevator at each level.

3-D laser scans were also used to scan the concourse, mezzanine and platform levels of the station.

Rouse Surveyors is proud to have a longstanding relationship with the TTC, working with them for nearly 20 years. We are experts in this field with extensive data and expertise to deliver on any TTC project.
